Superb, police (ie. 'Polizei') aluminium-based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Polizei') being a maker- (ie. 'Dransfeld & Co.'-) marked and '1940'-dated example that comes in a fully untouched, condition

The superb - and I deem just minimally used- and/or worn! - example of a 'standard-issued'-pattern, typical aluminium-based police- (ie. 'Polizei o. Gendarmerie'-) related belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Polizei o. Gendarmerie') is a neatly maker- (ie. 'Dransfeld & Co.'-) marked example that comes mounted onto its (typically-styled!) natural-coloured- and genuine leather-based tab and that comes in a truly minimally used- (albeit fully untouched- and not cleaned-), condition (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which is void of a makers'-designation on its back as more often - truly retains most (ie. all!) of its silver-greyish finish and just shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining simply caused by having been minimally used and/or stored as such for decades. The piece is of a typical 'molded aluminium' and/or 'single-pieced-construction' and is very nicely executed and shows a regular-pattern Polizei'-device and motto. The lether-based tab shows an oval-shaped stamp that reads: 'Dransfeld & Co. - Menden i/W - 1940' (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat buckle - that shows some obvious age, wear and/or staining - orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over several years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I have priced this neat - and just moderately used and/or worn! - 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Polizei' accordingly!
