Superb - and hardly used! - golden-coloured- and/or aluminium-based: 'Wasserschützpolizei'-belt-buckle being a maker- (ie. 'C.T.D.' or 'C.T. Dicke'-) marked example that comes in an overall wonderful condition
This is a very attractive - and with certainty quite rarely seen! - example of a bright-golden-coloured- and/or typical light-weight (ie. aluminium-) based: 'Wasserschützpolizei'- (or: water-police) belt-buckle being a neatly maker- (ie. 'C.T.D.' or: 'C.T. Dicke'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just minimally used- and/or worn-), condition. The buckle truly retains almost all of its fairly 'frosted'-styled, golden-coloured finish without showing any defaults: it was simply never cleaned nor polished and does show some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows some obvious dust caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The buckle itself is also maker-marked and shows the super-imposed makers-designation: 'C.T.D.' stamped onto its back as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. Without any doubt a very attractive, 'C.T. Dicke'-marked so-called: 'Wasserschützpolizei'-example that is priced according to its overall very nicely preserved- and totally untouched condition!
