Neat, three-pieced WH (Luftwaffe) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') resp. showing the ribbons for a: WH (Luftwaffe) 'Dienstauszeichnung' (of the 4 th class) and an Austrian- and: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal
The neat three-pieced, WH (Luftwaffe) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') is respectively showing the ribbons for a: WH (Luftwaffe) 'Dienst-Auszeichnung' (of the fourth class ie. '4. Stufe') that shows a firmly-attached tarnished-silver-toned (and down-tailed!) eagle-device attached, an: Austrian 'Anschluss'-medal and a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal (which medals was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Austria and/or Czechoslovakia, which started resp. on 1 March ie. 1 October 1938) both ribbons coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. Both ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller) ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1,5 cms. each as is more often encountered (the 'Bandspange' has a total length of approximately 4,5 cms. as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is of course fully functional: it is nicely 'backed' with a piece of wool and retains its functional pin-/catch-attachment (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed - and firmly attached! - device shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but has been nicely preserved. This particular example was - I deem - only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply a neat, three-pieced, WH (Luftwaffe) 'Band-/Feldspange' having a not that often seen combination: great to decorate almost any TR-tunic!
