Superb - fully matching and very desirable! - pair of Waffen-SS NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Hauptscharführer' who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Infanterie-Truppen'
This is a truly very attractive - very desirable, fully matching and nowadays very scarcely found! - pair of typical Waffen-SS, NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unterführer der Waffen-SS') as piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'SS-Hauptscharführer' (ie. sergeant first-class) who served within the: 'Waffen-SS Infanterie-Truppen' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps are constructed from the typical, black-coloured-wool and show the black-coloured 'upperdecks' and are in all facets a 'standard-issued- and (I deem) mid- (ie. later-) war-pattern-type pair. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 10,6 cms. sized in length each as more often encountered - show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type branchcolour ie. piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which are 'backed' with field-grey-coloured (ie. so-called: Italia- styled wool ie. drap 'Orti' - come of course mounted onto their smaller-sized (and typical Waffen-SS-pattern!) tongues attached. The pair shows the (standard-pattern) silverish-grey-toned NCO-braid and two pairs of (matching, zinc-based) pips period-attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The straps are totally void of any damage but does show some obvious wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that almost every collector is looking for these white-piped, Waffen-SS NCO-type-shoulderstraps but these are very hard to find and nowadays hardly ever offered for sale. The straps are as stated above only moderately used ie. worn. It should be noted that these original, period Waffen-SS NCO-type-shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'very scarce': even more so, when they are piped in the rarely encountered, white-coloured- (ie. 'SS-Infanterie-Truppen'-related-) branchcolour!
