Superb - and rarely encountered! - membership-brooch (ie. 'Mitgliedsbrosche') as intended for a member serving within the: 'Nationalsocialistische Schwesternschaft o. N.S.S.') showing a unique engraved (low!) bearers'-numeral: '35'

This is a very attractive - and witrh certainty rarely found! -membership-brooch (ie. 'Mitgliedsbrosche') as was specifically intended for a staff-member serving within the: 'Nationalsocialistische Schwesternschaft o. N.S.S.') showing the text: 'Haus für soziale Hilfsarbeit - Altdorf' and being an oval-shaped, and approx. 47-mm.-sized version that shows a (very low!) engraved bearers-numeral that reads: '35' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- and/or totally undamaged- and/or uncleaned-, condition. The lapel-pin is void of a makers'-designation and is also void of a: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-marking (as can be seen on the pictures). The medium-sized badge which has as stated above an approximate diameter of 4,7 cms. has (I deem) been moderately used ie. worn (as can be seen on the pictures). It truly retains most of its silver-toned finish and has maintained an attractive age-patina and has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it does show normal wear but has truly no damage whatsoever (it still shows a tarnished, silver-coloured finish as can be seen from the pictures). I could NOT find any reference-material on this interesting N.S.S.-related 'Dienstbrosche': I am convinced that it is a rarely encountered specimen. Simply a very attractive membership-brooch or: 'Mitgliedsbrosche' that belonged to a member of the: 'Nationalsocialistische Schwesternschaft o. N.S.S.'!
