Superb, WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or bronze-class IAB) being a neatly maker- (ie. 'R.S.S.'-) marked and truly 'frosted-silver'-toned example that comes in an issued- and/or moderately used- and worn, condition
This is a truly attractive example of a WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry assault-badge ie. IAB) being a neatly maker- (ie. 'R.S.S.'-) marked and truly 'frosted-silver'-toned example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued- and/or just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The (semi-hollow-shaped) badge - which is minimally 'vaulted' ie. 'converse' as always - is a typical example as was produced by the company: 'Richard Sieper u. Söhne' as based in the town of Lüdenscheid. The badge (which is as stated neatly maker-marked with the makers-designation: 'R.S.S.' on its back) has great pronounced detail and retains most of its (neatly 'frosted-silver'- coloured!) finish. The IAB is just a bit tarnished and stained but was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished. The award comes naturally mounted on its functional (typical) pin- and typical (ball-shaped) catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive silver-class IAB that is with certainty accordingly priced!
