This is a neat example of an - I deem - fairly early- (ie. pre-war-) period- and/or typical, silvered 'Buntmetall'- (or: 'Altsilber'-) based-, so-called: 'Polizei'-related visor-cap eagle (ie. 'Adler für Polizei-Schirmmütze') being a (tarnished) silver-coloured- and/or non-maker-marked example that was intended for usage on the various 'Polizei' (ie. police) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem clearly used- ie. once visor-cap-attached-), condition. The detailed and multipiece-constructed cap-eagle is executed in bright-silver-coloured (ie. somewhat 'frosted') 'Buntmetall' and retains both (copper-toned) prongs (as can be seen on the pictures). The detail on the fairly 'frosted' piece is still quite extraordinary: it just shows some dust ie. tarnish simply caused by decades of storage and fair wear. I deem that this attractive piece is accordingly priced!
