Neat - pre-war-pattern and 'standard-issue'-type - WH binoculars (ie. 'Dienstglas 6 x 30') so-called: 'anti-movement flap' (or: 'Tragelasche') as was executed in black-coloured leather, being a maker- (ie 'Leitz - Wetzlar'-) marked example
This is a little piece of WH-equipment that is often missing in an equipment set-up: a 'standard-issue'-type, WH binoculars (ie. 'Dienstglas 6 x 30') so-called: 'anti-movement flap' (or: 'Tragelasche') as was executed in black-coloured leather, being a neatly maker- (ie 'Leitz - Wetzlar'-) marked and/or: '1937'-dated example comes in an overall nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat piece is as stated moderately used and shows some regular traces of wear: the piece is, however, totally undamaged and fully souple: it comes thus in a still fully functional condition. The flap comes with both its two, original blackened 'studs' in place and can easily be re-mounted to any binocular-pair. As stated above, does this example show an impressed makers'-designation and/or clearly present date something that is with certainty not always the case. Simply a nice little piece of equipment that would surely look great if re-mounted on a pair of 6 x 30 (or even a 10 x 50) binoculars: withut doubt a nice example of a fairly hard to find WH equipment-piece!
