Attractive, two-pieced WWI- (ie. TR-period-) medal-bar-set (ie. 'Ordenspange u. Feld-/Bandspange-Satz') showing resp. a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' and a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe'
This is a truly very attractive - and I deem only minimally used- and/or worn example - of a two-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Doppelspange' plus accompanying 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively being of the non-'detachable'-pattern that is respectively depicting a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwertern') and a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' (or: air-raid-warden service-medal second-class) being a 'regular-weight'-specimen as was executed in typical, greyish-toned- and/or zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') both pieces coming in an overall nice- (albeit just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. Both awards are truly bronze- (ie. tarnished golden-) and/or (bright) silver-coloured and are just minimally tarnished by age and/or moderate usage and wear (as can be seen on the pictures) but are both void of any real damage or alike. Both pieces come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons and have a very nicely preserved age-patina and are just a tiny bit dirty: they were (I deem) never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was found together with its accompanying 'Feld- o. Bandspange' (that is of the neat button-hole-set-up). The entire 'Spange' is neatly 'backed' with a piece of darker-green toned wool and shows a (regular-type- and functional) pin- ie. catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' is a clearly maker- (ie. '32 R.V. Pforzheim'-) marked example. Simply an attractive example of a two-pieced WW1- ie. TR-related 'Ordenspange-Satz' in an uncommonly found combination that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
