Attractive, WH-related so-called: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 3. Klasse in Bronze mit Schwertern' (being a maker- ie. '100'-marked- and/or: 'Feinzink'-based example that comes mounted onto its period ribbon)
This is an attractive example of a WH-related, so-called: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 3. Klasse in Bronze mit Schwertern' (or: 'Ostvölker' bronze-class service-medal for shown bravery on the Eastern Front with swords) being a (typical) non-maker-marked- and/or: 'Feinzink'-based example that comes mounted onto its period-attached ribbon ('Bandabschnitt') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem only minimally used ie. worn-) condition. The exampe on offer here is of the bronze- (ie. third-) class with swords that truly retains almost all of its (shiny!) goldenbronze-toned finish and still retains great pronounced detail (it is just a tiny bit tarnished- ie. dirty as to be expected but was never cleaned nor polished as can be seen on the pictures). The typical (darker-green-coloured) ribbon is still period sewn-together and comes with its period-attached (ie. bronze-coloured) pin-/catch 'attachment-clip' still attached. The award shows a clearly stamped makers'-designation '100' in its ring denoting that this example was produced by the: 'Wächtler & Lange'-company as was based in the town of Mittwaida in Sachsen. Simply a very attractive 'Ostvölker'-related medal that will be very hard to be upgraded!
