Very detailed - later-war-period - zinc- (ie. The truly very attractive - and with certainty desirable and fairly rarely encountered! - later-war-period, army-'Flak'-badge (ie. WH 'Heeres-Flakkampfabzeichen') - is a so-called: 'flatback'-variant that is executed in typical, greyish-coloured zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes mounted on its (typical) thin-shaped- and/or copper-toned pin ie. catch (-set-up). This example retains a neat (elongated, vertically mounted- and/or typical-) 'Juncker'-type catch (as can be seen on the pictures). This example shows as to be expected extraordinary and/or pronounced detail overall. It has a nice age-patina and retains most of its original, typical greyish-silver-coloured finish: it is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained but has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, is the badge a typical non-maker-marked, farily high-quality example that was with certainty produced by the 'C.E. Juncker'-company as based in Berlin. The piece originates from a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. It should be noted that these by: 'C.E. Juncker'-produced WH 'Heeres-Flakkampfabzeichen' can easily be graded 'fairly rare' (and rank amongst the hardest to find 'Feinzink'-based specimen of the series!). Simply a superb war-badge that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
