Attractive, 4-pieced WWI-period, medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') resp. showing an: 'EK II.Kl', a: Sachsen 'Friedrich August'-medal, an: 'FKK 1914-18 mit Schw.' and a: 'Kyfhaüsserbund' commemorative-medal
The attractive four-pieced, WWI-period (ie. Sachsen-related) medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') respectively shows a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class), a bronze-toned Sachsen- (ie. Saxony-) related so-called: 'Friedrich August 1914-18'-medal, a: WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern') and a golden-bronze-toned: 'Kyfhaüsserbund 1914-18' commemorative-medal all four awards coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. All four awards are truly nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons. The detail on the 'EKII. Klasse' is truly stunning and nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and/or minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). It retains nice details and has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. 'shiny-style') core and is void of any damage or paint-loss. The 'Friedrich August 1914-18'-medal is a reddish-bronze toned example that retains nice detail. The 'FKK 1914-18' shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back (that simply reads: 'Gebr.D.L.' as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Kyfhaüsserbund 1914-18' commemorative-medal is a nicely preserved example that retains all of its golden-toned finish (as can be noticed on the pictures). The entire 'Spange' (which is of the non-'detachable-pattern'!) comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and is neatly 'backed' with a piece of bright-red-coloured wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' just shows some minimal dirt and/or dust acquired over the years: the ribbons show some equal minor usage and/or staining. This attractive medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or minimally worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike and was kept as such for decades. Simply an attractive - and truly decorative! - four-pieced, WWI-period 'Ordenspange' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
