Attractive, smaller-sized WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Fahrzeugwimpel' being fabricated in typical, darker-blue-coloured and linnen-based fabric and that shows a detailed, embroidered eagle-device on both sides

This an attractive example of a somewhat smaller-sized, WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Fahrzeugwimpel' (or: car-pennant flag) being fabricated in typical, darker-blue-coloured, yellow-rimmed and/or linnen-based fabric and that showing a detailed, embroidered eagle-device on both sides and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used-), condition. The attractive piece measures from point to end approximately 29,5 cms. and is fabricated in typical, darkerblue-coloured- and somewhat thicker-shaped, linnen-based fabric. The flag shows the (typical) blue-coloured 'frame' and shows in its centre a very detailed (and nicely embroidered!) naval eagle-device (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece on offer here comes in a moderately used condition: it truly retains vivid and bright colours and is of the 'double-sided'-pattern (having on either side a separately embroidered eagle-device). The flag has its (period) attachment rope in place (that shows on one end a chrome-steel-based so-called musketon-hook attached). The interesting piece is totally void of any (makers'-)designation nor ink-stamp and does show some moderate usage- ie. wear-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). The flag originates from a larger insignia-lot that was brought to the USA by an US veteran and that remained there for years in a collection. Simply an attractive TR-period, WH Kriegsmarine-related 'Fahrzeugwimpel' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
