Attractive - and hardly used! - 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Kl.' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '65'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company
This is a very attractive - untouched and I deem hardly used nor even mounted! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '65'-) marked as was produced by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company as based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit simply never used- nor even mounted-), condition. The piece on offer here has most certainly never been cleaned and shows a very attractive (blackened- and truly 'satin-like'- ie. matted-) patina and shows a fully undamaged, black-coloured 'inner-core'-section. The piece - which shows a clear makers'-designation and that can be attributed to the 'Klein & Quenzer'-company (ie. 'Hersteller 65') - truly retains most of its polished sides (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten') and does just show some minimal storage-age only. It came together with its non-confectioned (ie. approx. 29 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. As stated above has the cross great and very fine detail: it has just a bit 'tarnished' over the years. Simply a neat - and fully untouched! - IC 2nd.class by the 'Klein & Quenzer'-company that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
