Attractive, 3-pieced 'WWI- u. WH (Heeres o. KM)'-related medal-bar- (ie. 'Ordenspange'-) resp. depicting a WWI-period: 'EK II.Kl.', a: 'FKK 1914-18' and a: WH (Heeres o. KM) 'Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe'
This is an attractive - and only moderately used! - three-pieced, 'WWI- u. WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine)'-related medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') respectively depicting a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class), a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwertern') and a neatly bright-silver-toned: WH (Heeres o. KM) 'Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe' (as was intended for 4 years of loyal-service) that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The detail on the 'EKII. Klasse' is truly stunning and nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and/or minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). It retains nice details and has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. 'shiny-style') core and is void of any damage nor paint-loss. The FKK 1914-18 shows a clear makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'R.V. 24 Pforzheim' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The detail on this award is also nicely preserved but it does show some tarnished age-patina and some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The WH (Heeres o. KM) 'Dienstauszeichnung 4. Stufe' shows a (equally detailed, silver-toned) eagle-device period-attached and shows a nicely preserved (somehat 'frosted') age-patina (as can be noticed on the pictures). The award itself is just a tiny bit tarnished but truly retains a great, silver-toned age-patina overall (it has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished). All three awards - which show their nicely preserved, period ribbons - come both 'period-mounted' onto a metal-based 'clasp' that is neatly backed with a piece of darker-green-coloured wool (and that shows a functional pin- ie. catch-set-up) as was intended for wearing this example on a 'going-out'- ie. dress-tunic or 'Waffenrock'. This particular piece was recently uncovered at a German private-household and only shows minimal age and/or wear (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive example of a three-pieced 'WWI- u. WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine)'-related 'Ordenspange' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
