Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type collar-tabs, as was intended for a medium-ranked-, administrative-official having the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie.: 'Beambter a.K. des mittlerer Dienstes')
The attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - collar-pair - which was intended for usage by a lower- (ie. medium-) ranked officer having the comparable rank of: 'Leutnant' or: 'Oberleutnant' (ie.: 'Beambter a.K. des mittlerer Dienstes') is constructed from the specific, greyish-coloured- and/or: smooth-like- (ie. moleskin-type-) wool having a darker-green- (and woolen-type-) piping attached. The tabs have, moreover, the (typical-) greyish-silver-coloured- (and hand-embroidered!) 'upperdecks' showing as per regulation darker-green-coloured 'centre-stripes'. The collar-tabs were never used nor tunic-attached: they still show a period inventory-etiket attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The collar-tab-pair - which shows the beige-coloured buckram 'backings' as to be expected - was never before in a collection and does show some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage and moderate wear (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these Heeres-related-, officers'-type collar-tabs as were intended for: 'Beambter a.K. des mittlerer Dienstes' can easily be graded: 'fairly scarce'.
