Neat - and unusually encountered! - DJH- (or: 'Deutschen Jugend Herbergen') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate: '25 Jahre DJH - Jugendburg Stahleck - Rheinland - 1911-1936'
This is an attractive so-called: DJH- (ie. 'Deutsche Jugend Herbergen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstalstungsabzeichen') that was specifically issued to commemorate: '25 Jahre DJH - Jugendburg Stahleck - Rheinland - 1911-1936' being a clearly maker- (ie. 'Hoffstätter - Bonn'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced (shield-shaped) day-badge - which is executed in typical, silver-toned, aluminium-based metal truly shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished: it is just somewhat tarnished by age. The piece depicts a detailed illustration of a castle (ie. the: 'Jugenburg Stahleck') coupled with the text: '25 Jahre DJH - Jugendburg Stahleck - Rheinland - 1911-1936' and comes mounted onto its (of course still functional) pin-/catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and most certainly not that often encountered! - youth- ie. DJH- (ie. 'Deutsche Jugend Herbergen'-) related 'tinnie' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
