Attractive - and truly scarcely found! - commemorative, golden-bronze-toned, 'Flieger'- (ie. 'WHW'-) related 'tinnie' depicting a plane, two swastikas and text (ie. date) that reads: 'N.S.G. - Kraft Durch Freude - Volksflugtag - Gera - 1933'
The attractive - early-period and with certainty scarcely encountered! - 'Flieger'- (ie. 'WHW'- or: 'Winterhilfs-Werke'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-toned- (and somewhat tarnished) tin-based metal (ie. copper-toned 'Eisenblech') and depicts an illustration of a plane, two swastikas and text (ie. date) that reads: 'N.S.G. - Kraft Durch Freude - Volksflugtag - Gera - 1933' and that was as such intended for an: 'Flieger-Treffen'-related event that took place in the year 1933. The square-shaped day-badge - that shows some normal wear and/or moderate age - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and has I deem never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - that is totally void of a makers'-designation - retains most (ie. all!) of its golden-bronze-coloured finish but is just a bit dirty: it was, however, never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows a (unique!) serial-numeral that reads: '08442' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and with certainty scarcely found! - 'Flieger'- (ie. 'WHW'-) related so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is offered for an interesting price!
