Unusual - and scarcely found! - aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the stamped unit-designation that reads: 'Brücken Wachkomp. 6.' and that comes mounted onto its period, metal-based 'chain'

This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely found! - example of a bright-silver-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based WH (Heeres) ie. 'Wach-Truppen'- (ie. guard-troops-) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that comes mounted onto its period (and unusually seen!) metal-based 'chain' as worn and that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Brücken Wachkomp. 6.' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within the 6th company of a specific: 'Brücken Wach.'-unit and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc that comes mounted onto its period-chain shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type A') something that is more often but not always observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes as issued and worn. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example bears a low number: being '171' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and truly scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) ie. 'Wach-Truppen'- (ie. guard-troops-) related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
