Attractive - and truly scarcely found! - commemorative, golden-bronze-toned- and typical tin-based - 'Flieger'-related 'tinnie' depicting a flying eagle-device and text that reads: 'Grenzland Flugtag Friedland - Bez. Breslau'
The attractive - and (I deem) very early-period and with certainty scarcely encountered! - 'Flieger'-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-toned- (and somewhat tarnished) tin-based metal (ie. copper-toned 'Eisenblech') and depicts an illustration of a flying eagle-device over a mountain-area and text that simply reads: 'Grenzland Flugtag Friedland - Bez. Breslau' and that was as such intended for an: 'Flieger-Treffen'-related event that took (I deem) place in the late twenties. The peculiar-shaped day-badge - that shows some normal wear and/or moderate age - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and has I deem never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - that is totally void of a makers'-designation - retains most (ie. all!) of its golden-bronze-coloured finish but is just a bit dirty: it was, however, never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and with certainty scarcely found! - very-early-period, 'Flieger'-related so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is offered for an interesting price!
