Attractive, mid- (ie. later-) war-period, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based version of a WH (LW) 'Erdkampfabzeichen' as was (I deem) produced by the: 'Friedrich Linden'- (ie. 'F.L.L.'-) company and that comes in a just moderately used condition Attractive, mid- (ie. later-) war-period, zinc- (ie. This is an attractive - and I deem mid- (ie. later-) war-period - typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based version of a so-called: WH (Luftwaffe) 'Erdkampfabzeichen' (or: ground-combat badge) being a (typical) non-maker-marked example that was (I deem) produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Friedrich Linden'- ('F.L.L.'-) and having a 'separately' (ie. firmly riveted) bright-silver-coloured (and also zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based!) eagle-device originally-attached and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat and detailed badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- and/or typical, pin-set-up but shows a 'round-shaped' catch(plate) (as can be noticed on the pictures). These mid- (ie. later-) war-period badges show a 'loose' and/or detailed silver-coloured eagle-device attached (by means of a single rivet as is visible on the back). These zinc-based badges show, however, nice and/or pronounced detail overall. The badge truly retains most of its period finish but does show a minimally tarnished age-patina as is more often encountered. The badge can (I deem) be attributed to the desirable maker: 'Friedrich Linden'- ('F.L.L.'-) based in the town of Lüdenscheid: the specific details on this badge naturally fully corroborate this. The piece was (I deem) never cleaned: the silver-coloured eagle-device also retains a very detailed appearance (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and garuanteed original! - zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based by (I deem) 'Friedrich Linden'- ('F.L.L.'-) produced 'variant' of this desirable LW-war-badge that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
