This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely found! - example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based so-called: 'Polizei o. Gendarmerie'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that comes mounted onto its period cord as worn and that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Gend.Zug(mot) nr. 69' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within a specific, motorised 'Gendarmerie'-unit, numbered: '69' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc that comes mounted onto its period-cord shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type B') stamped on its back something that is more often but not always observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes as issued and worn. The disc originates from a larger ID-disc-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and truly scarcely found! - 'Polizei o. Gendarmerie'-related that is with certainty accordingly priced!
