Superb - and 'virtually mint'! - 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '65'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company
This is a very attractive - and fully untouched! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '65'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company as based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit simply never used- nor worn-), condition. The piece on offer here has most certainly never been cleaned and shows a very attractive (blackened- and truly 'satin-like'- ie. matted-) patina and shows a fully undamaged, black-coloured 'inner-core'-section. The piece - which shows a clear makers'-designation: '65' stamped into the back of its (flute-shaped) pin can with certainty be attributed to the 'Klein & Quenzer'-company. The cross retains some of its polished sides (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten') and does just show some minimal storage-age only. As stated above has the cross great and very fine detail: it was I deem issued but simply never worn and is just a tiny bit dusty). Simply a neat - and fully untouched! - IC first-class by the 'Klein & Quenzer'-company that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
