Commemorative, 'N.S.F.K.'-related 'tinnie' depicting the: 'N.S.F.K.'-logo and text: 'Grossflugtag - NSFK-Gruppe 11 - Frankfurt a. M. - Hessen Westmark - 28.30.7-1939' and sub-titled: '2. Int. Luftrennen D. Meister i. Geschicklichkeitsflug'
The attractive - and typically 'oval-shaped' and not that often seen! - so-called: 'N.S.F.K.'-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and I deem zinc-based 'pot-metal' and depicts a detailed illustration of the: 'N.S.F.K.'-logo (aka: 'fliegender Mensch'), aircraft and text that simply reads: 'Grossflugtag - NSFK-Gruppe 11 - Frankfurt a. M. - Hessen Westmark - 28.30.7-1939' and that is sub-titled: '2. Int. Luftrennen Deutsche Meister i. Geschicklichkeitsflug' (and that was as such intended- ie. issued for an: 'N.S.F.K.'-related rally ie. flying-contest as held in the town of Frankfurt in the year 1939). The unusually seen badge - that shows some normal wear and/or moderate age - comes naturally mounted on its functional pin set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it retains a fully preserved finish (as can be seen on the pictures) and is still very detailed and/or pronounced. I am convinced that this is an unusally encountered 'N.S.F.K.'- (ie. 'National-Socialistisches Fliegerkorps'-) related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
