This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Fallschirmjäger/Flieger'- (ie. paratrooper- or pilot) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped- (and/or: 'coded') unit-designation (aka: 'MOB-liste-Nummerierung') that simply reads: '62828' (and as such belonging to a soldier who served within the: 'Stab I./LL-Geschwader 1'). The disc comes in an overall very nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (see pictures). The disc is totally void of an impressed bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often seen on these 'coded' ID-discs and also shows a clearly stamped (low!) bearers-numeral that reads: '106'. The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive and honest 'coded' WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Fallschirmjäger o. Luftlande-Truppen'-related ID-disc that belonged to a member of a specific 'Luftlande-Geschwader' and that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
