Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class IAB) being a maker-marked, 'waffle-crimp'-example by the: 'BSW'- (ie. 'Brüder Schneider'-) company
This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered and truly quite desirable! - example of a WH (Heeres- ie. Waffen-SS) 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry assault badge ie. IAB) being a (typical) maker- (ie. 'BSW' in a clover) marked so-called: 'waffle-crimp'-example as was produced by the Austrian based: 'BSW'- (ie. 'Brüder Schneider'-) company and that comes in a truly issued- ie. just moderately worn, condition. The badge - which is quite 'vaulted' ie. 'converse'-shaped as always - is a typical example as was produced by the: 'BSW'- (ie. 'Brüder Schneider'-) company and shows all the specifications of this maker. The badge shows some obvious wear, age and/or staining but has retained great pronounced detail (as can be noticed on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and fully unaltered) and (typical) 'BSW'-pin- ie. catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - albeit moderately used! - silver-class IAB of the 'waffle-crimp'-pattern that will be hard to be upgraded: I deem that I have priced this desirable war-badge according to its obvious scarcity and/or desirability!
