Attractive, bronze-toned- (and I deem typical 'Eisenblech'-based) so-called: 'Deutscher Siedlerbund'- (ie. 'D.S.B.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a: 'D.S.B.'-meeting held in 1939
This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely seen! - darkened bronze-toned- (and I deem typical 'Eisenblech'-based) so-called: 'Deutscher Siedlerbund'- (ie. 'D.S.B.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a specific: 'D.S.B.'-meeting that was held in the town of Stuttgart on 8.9. Juli 1939 and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. This regional-issued day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in darkened bronze-toned- (and I deem typical 'Eisenblech'-based and neatly 'Brennlack'-finished) metal and that shows a (detailed!) 'D.S.B.'-eagle-device surrounded by the text: 'Deutscher Siedlerbund E.V. - Baden-Württemberg-Hohenzollern - Stuttgart - 8.-9. Juli 1939'. The circular-shaped badge - which has an approximate diameter of only 4,4 cms. - is void of any makers'-designation and comes in an overall very nice (albeit I deem issued and/or minimally worn-), condition: it shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - 'D.S.B.'-related (and regional issued!) 'tinnie' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
