Superb - and scarcely found! - typical aluminium-based, WH (Heeres-) ie. 'Panzer'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: '1.Kol.Panz.Abt.II/36' and that comes mounted onto its period-cord Superb - and scarcely found! - typical aluminium-based, WH (Heeres-) ie. This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely found! - example of a bright-silver-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based WH (Heeres-) ie. 'Panzer'- (ie. tank troops-) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that comes mounted onto its period cord as worn and that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '1.Kol.Panz.Abt.II/36' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within the 1st company of the 'Kolonne Panzer-Abteilung II/36' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc that comes mounted onto its period-cord shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type 0') something that is more often but not always observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes as issued and worn. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example bears a very low number: being '13' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and truly scarcely found! - WH (Heeres-) ie. 'Panzer'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
