Neat - and clearly used! - two-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') showing resp. a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwn.' and a: 'Westwall'-medal that come period-mounted as a: 'Doppelspange'

This is a neat - clearly used- and/or worn and/or very tarnished - example of a two-pieced, TR-period medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') showing respectively a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords) and a: 'Westwall'-medal (ie. 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen') that come period-mounted as a (non-detachable) 'Doppelspange' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued- and most certainly used- ie. worn-), condition. The 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords) is a typical 'Buntmetall'-based example that is clearly stained: it was, however, was never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp something that is also valid for the 'Westwall'-medal (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' shows some dirt and/or dust acquired over the years: the ribbons show some equal minor usage and/or staining. The 'Spange' is nicely 'backed' with a piece of greyish-brown-coloured wool (something that is more often seen) and comes mounted on its functional pin (but misses its catch). Nevertheless a neat example of a non-detachable 'Doppelspange' that is (I deem) accordingly priced and that can be mounted on almost any TR-tunic!
