This is a very nicely preserved - ie. 'virtually mint!' - example of a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Klasse' (or: golden-class, loyal-service medal as was issued for 40 years of loyal service) that comes still stored in its original, neatly maker- (ie. 'Deschler'-) marked carton- (ie. typical 'Zellstoff'-) based pouch as issued and/or stored for decades. The medal - which is a non-maker-marked specimen as more often - is a stunning piece that truly retains all of its very shiny- and/or bright golden-coloured finish: it also retains most (ie. all!) of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) and has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished. It comes mounted onto its corn-flower-blue-coloured ribbon which retains its copper-toned clasp as was intended for easy tunic-attachment. The medal has most certainly never been cleaned and has truly immaculate- and/or undamaged black-coloured enamel. The - actually scarcely encountered! - beige-brown-coloured- and/or: 'Zellstoff'- based pouch (sized: 13 x 10,7 cms.) comes in an equally very nice condition overall: it shows only minimal (storage) age but is complete and/or fully functional. It shows a clearly printed makers'-mark on its back (that reads: 'Deschler & Sohn - München 9' as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and fully complete golden-toned loyal-service medal first-class that was produced by the 'Deschler'-company: hard to find a more attractive example for a more interesting price!
