This is a very unusual - and with certainty not that often found! - TR-period-souvenir: a genuine leather-based (albeit damaged) wallet that shows a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'- (ie. evt. NCO-) type, hand-embroidered- (and truly very detailed!) naval-type visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützenadler für Offiziere der Kriegsmarine') being executed in various types of bright-golden-coloured braid onto a darker-blue-coloured- and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based background and that comes in an overall very nice condition. This eagle - having a length ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 7,6 cms. - is very nicely hand-embroidered using the neat golden-coloured 'braid' onto a darker-blue-coloured (and/or woolen-based-) background and has some 'highlighted areas' as executed in golden-coloured thread (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle was most certainly period-attached (by hand-stitching) onto a small-sized, leather-based wallet that shows a broken zip-closure (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle can naturally easily be used as a scarcely found replacement piece if needed. In any case is this an unusual naval period-souvenir that helds a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type 'Schirmmützenadler' of the 'Extra Qualität'!
