Commemorative, aluminium-based SA- o. HJ (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related 'tinnie' being a maker-marked example showing an 'SA-Sportabzeichen' and text: 'Winterwehrkämpfe - Aflenz - 27.-29.-1.1939'
The neat - and somewhat later-period - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in blackened-silvered, aluminium-based metal and that depicts a detailed: 'SA-Sportabzeichen' and text that reads: 'Winterwehrkämpfe - Aflenz - 27.-29.-1.1939' and that was as such intended for a specific SA- ie. HJ-related wintersport-gathering that was held in the town of Aflenz in the year 1939. The shield-shaped day-badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin-catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' retains most of its (somewhat shiny) silverish-coloured finish and shows a clearly present makers'-designation that reads: 'Ulbricht - Wien' and/or: 'RzM M9/235' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and not that easily encountered! - so-called: SA- (ie. HJ-) related 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
