This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - (I deem) specific SA (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') collar-patch (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as executed in black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured wool as was intended for usage by an SA-Mann serving within one of various existing 'SA-Standarten' being a just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed example that is void of an 'RzM'-etiket. The piece - that shows a typical 'buckram'-based 'backing' attached - comes in an overall nicely preserved condition and shows the (white-toned) '18/60'-numerals (ie. cyphers or 'Ziffern') as executed in white-coloured linnen- or wool which numerals are executed by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' (as can be seen on the pictures). This particular piece was found with various other SA-related cloth-insignia and was part of a grouping that was recently uncovered in the USA where it was brought after 1945 as a so-called: 'veteran-bringback'-lot. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example was used as a 'vertically-mounted' collar-tab something that is unusually seen). Simply a nicely preserved - and most certainly not that easily encountered! - SA-Kragenspiegel that belonged to an: 'SA-Mann' serving within one of the various 'SA-Standarten' and that is I deem accoringly priced!
