Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as was piped in the bright-pink branchcolour as was intended for an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Panzerjäger-Abts. o. Regiments'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', high-ranked officers'-type shoulderboard having the (bright!) pink-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: lieutnant colonel who served within a specific anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyers' unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 10,6 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: larger-sized) so-called: 'P'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and equally-styled, single pip period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a senior-officer who held the rank of: 'Oberstleutnant' (ie. lieutnant-colonel). Both devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but are both still nicely preserved. The strap never had a tongue attached (it is a specimen of the 'sew-in'-type) and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' and high-ranked officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
