This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty not that easily found! - pair of 'standard-issue'-pattern', neatly hand-embroidered officers'-type collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as was piped in the desirable black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Offizier der Pionier-Truppen' (or: officer who served within an army-engineers unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally worn- and once tunic-attached-), condition. The black-piped pair - which is as more often not 'backed' - is neatly hand-embroidered in silverish-coloured 'braid' (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was I deem just minimally worn and once tunic-attached: it was carefully tunic-removed and shows some truly minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair originates from a private-household in Germany and still shows a period inventory-etiket glued on its back. Simply a very attractive collar-tab-pair that was intended for an: 'Offizier der Pionier-Truppen' and that will be very hard to be upgraded!
