Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the golden-yellow-coloured brancolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberstleutnant der Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of (higher-ranked!) WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Offiziere der Luftwaffe') as piped in the golden-yellow-coloured brancolour and executed in golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or: smooth-type- ie. 'moleskin'-type wool as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberstleutnant der Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' (or: lieutnant-colonel who served within the pilot- or paratrooper-branch) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem minimally used- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The boards - that never had any tongues attached and that were clearly intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern - measure approx. 10,7 cms. in length as more often and show the (bright) silver-toned (and quite shiny!) 'upperdecks' as to be expected for a typical LW-pair (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows two (fully matching, smaller-sized, golden-toned- and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attched denoting the (high!) rank of: 'Oberstleutnant' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and just minimally used and/or tunic-removed - pair of higher-ranked LW officers'-type shoulderboards for a justified price!
