Neat - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern, 'tailor-made'- and/or rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps as intended for an: 'Oberwachtmeister eines (Sturm)Art.-Abts. o. Rgts.'

This is a neat - and fully matching! - pair of (typically) privately-purchased (ie. 'tailor-made'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberwachtmeister eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: sergeant first-class who served within an artillery unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth woolen'- (ie. boiled-woolen) based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps show two matching pairs of (regular-sized- and/or zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Oberwachtmeister o. Oberfeldwebel' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - never had any tongues attached and come both in an overall nice- and/or clearly used condition (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps were most certainIy worn as a pair and came from a private-household in Germany where they were recentlly found. I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, '(Sturm)Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
