Commemorative, 'HJ'-related 'tinnie' being a maker- (ie. 'W. Jäger'-) marked example depicting the text: '2. Gebietsaufmarsch - Nordsee (7) Bremen - 1937 - Nordsee H.J. Dankt der alten Garde'
The attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - circular-shaped badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in greyish-silver-coloured- and/or (I deem) zinc-based metal: it shows some regular wear and/or moderate age but is totally void of any real damage or alike. The badge (having an approximate diameter of 3,7 cms.) comes mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and retains most of its somewhat tarnished, silverish-grey-coloured finish. The 'tinnie' - which is clearly maker- (ie. 'Wilh. Jäger - Frankfurt a. M.'-) marked on its back - depicts two side-portraits (of a youngster and 'SA-Mann') and shows so-called 'HJ-Raute' (as can be seen on the pictures). It shows the text that reads: '2. Gebietsaufmarsch - Nordsee (7) Bremen - 1937' and is sub-titled: 'Nordsee HJ Dankt der alten Garde'. The (early-period!) piece comes as stated above mounted on its functional pin- ie. catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered - 'HJ'- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) related 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' issued to commemorate participation in the: '2. Gebietsaufmarsch - Nordsee (7) Bremen' as held in the year 1937!
