This is an attractive - and truly rarely found! - colourful 'BeVo'-woven, RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') officers'-pattern, commemorative cuff-title (ie. 'Dienstärmelstreifen') depicting the text: 'Anhalt' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. These RAD commemorative 'Anhalt'-cuff-titles (or in German language known as: 'Dienstärmelstreifen') which were introduced by an order dated April 1935 were worn on the lower left sleeve of the mustard-brown-coloured RAD-tunics. The cuff-title is neatly executed in bright-green-, red- and white-coloured linnen in so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-technique and was intended for (merely commissioned) RAD-staffmembers (ie. officers) serving within the: 'Arbeitsgau XIII' (ie. within the 'Gruppe' numbered: '135'). This example - which was clearly worn as such and that measures approximately 36 cms. in length - originates from a small collection of RAD cloth-insignia I recently acquired. This one was clearly worn (some minimal stitching-marks are visible) but comes in an overall very nice condition: it just shows some miminal usage and wear and shows some minimal fraying on both ends. Simply an attractive - and rarely found! - piece of RAD-insignia that is I deem accordingly priced!
