Attractive - and fully matching! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-insignia-set (comprising of a pair of shoulderstraps and ID-disc!) as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied eines Nachrichten-Regiments'
The attractive - and I deem just moderately used and/or worn! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-insignia-set (that is comprising of a fully matching pair of NCO-pattern shoulderstraps as piped in the light- ie. rust-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der LW-Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: sergeant who served within the LW signal-troops) and accompanying ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that simply reads: 'Ln.Fl.H. Neubiberg' and that comes in an overall equally nice- (and most certainly worn!), condition. The attractive shoulderstrap-pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall very nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The straps - which measure approximately 10 cms. in length each - have the woolen-type piping attached and simply show moderate age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps came mounted onto their functional tongues attached and show next to the silverish-grey-toned (ie. sub-dued!) NCO-braid and two (non-matching, 'Buntmetall'- and/or smaller-sized) pips period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') is executed in aluminium and comes mounted onto its (period-attached- and/or typical steel-based) chain as worn and is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Ln.Fl.H. Neubiberg' (and as such belonging to a signals'-NCO who served at the airport (ie. 'Fliegerhorst') situated in the town of Neubiberg. The disc comes in an overall very nice condition (and is executed in a very attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out' holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc shows the soldiers'-blood-group-type ('Type A') as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). This smaller-sized - but interesting! - grouping was never before in collectors'-hands and belonged to a signals'-NCO who wore these and after that stored them for decades. Simply a very attractive - and truly worn! - shoulderstrap-pair and accompanying ID-disc that was intended for a: 'Feldwebel der LW-Nachrichten-Truppen' who served at the: 'Fliegerhorst Neubiberg' near the town München!
