This particular example - being as stated above a non-maker-marked, neatly silverish-toned- and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based piece - has maintained an attractive (and typical 'Feinzink'-like-) silverish-toned age-patina and comes naturally mounted onto its functional (thin-shaped- and/or silver-toned) pin (which is mounted on a typical- 'smaller-sized'-mounting as is more often seen with pieces by this particular maker). The piece is very detailed and pronounced: it has - I deem – simply never been used and is void of any wear: it does show some minimal age and/or staining caused by decades of storage but was never cleaned nor polished (it still retains a somewhat 'shiny-like' finish as can be seen on the pictures). The piece still shows truly great pronounced detail as to be expected. I deem that this is a typical piece that was produced by - and can with certainty be attributed to! - the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Wilhelm Deumer' as based in the town of Lüdenscheid. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this specimen came still 'packed' in its piece of thin-shaped wrapping-paper as found and/or stored for decades. Simply a very attractive - and actually not that easily found! - hollow-back, zinc- (ie.'Feinzink'-) based example that will be very hard to be upgraded!
