This is a neat example of a WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type, so-called: 'Jäger'-armpatch being a (typical) 'BeVo'-woven example as was executed on field-grey-coloured linnen as was intended for usage by the: 'Jäger-Truppen' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem once used- ie. tunic-attached and nicely ironed-) condition. These attractive 'Jäger'-armpatches (as was intended for usage by the: 'Jäger-Truppen'- or: rifle-troops throughout the war) are showing three oakleaves on a darker-green-coloured background and were worn on the right upper-sleeve by the troops that were attached to the various 'Jäger'- (ie. rifle-) regiments (being some sort of mid-war-period, mountain-troop-related, infantry-units). The piece on offer here came as recently uncovered at a private house-hold in Germany and will be hard to be upgraded: it is just a tiny bit wrinkled (and minimally stained). Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat (and of course genuine!) Heeres-'Jäger'-armpatch for an interesting price!
