Attractive - and never used nor worn! - early- (ie. mid-) war-period example of an: 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze' being a nicely maker- (ie. 'Sieper u. Söhne - Lüdenscheid'-) marked example that comes stored in its period carton-based box (ie. etui)

The attractive - and I deem early- (ie. mid-) war-period - 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze' (or: bronze-class SA-sports'-badge) is as stated nicely maker-marked on its back with the makers'-designation: 'Sieper u. Söhne - Lüdenscheid' and also bears the usually encountered inscription: 'Eigentum der Obersten SA-Führung' (as is visible on the back of the sword as always). The badge - which comes naturally mounted onto its functional- (and unaltered) pin- (ie. catch-) set-up - is void of any wear and was never cleaned nor polished: truly all of its original- and/or (fairly bright-coloured- and/or golden-bronze-toned-) finish is fully present and/or neatly preserved: moreover, does it retain its period-applied (and somewhat glossy) 'Brennlack'. It does show, however, a few minor stains simply caused by having been handled over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, of course, that this particular specimen came stored in its period light-green-toned (and somewhat simpified) carton-based box (ie. etui) as issued and stored for decades. This etui is totally void of any makers'-mark- or designation and its top comes loose from its bottom (as more often). It is obvious that these etui’s are actually X-times more rarely encountered than the badge itself and this is just the second such time that I have such a completely untouched set on offer. Simply a very attractive and I deem early- ie. mid-war-period- and/or period-'boxed' example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
