This is an attractive - fully matching and actually nowadays not that easily found! - pair of (typical 'tailor-made'!) WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: sergeant first-class who served within an army infantry-regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit - I deem - clearly used ie. worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 10,7 cms. sized in length each - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured- (and boiled-woolen-based) 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or rayon-type piping attached - show the (silverish-coloured- ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-pattern) NCO-braid attached (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that this is a typical non-standard-issued ie. 'tailor-made'- (ie. privately-purchased) pair that was clearly used- and/or worn. The neat straps - which came mounted onto their period (smaller-sized) tongues - show as stated above moderate usage and/or wear (they are totally void of any damage but do show some minor staining and/or dust). The set shows four (smaller-sized, fully matching and/or aluminium-based) pips period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair held the rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel' (as can be seen on the pictures). This shoulderstrap-pair originated from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive 'Heeres'-related, early- (pre-) war-period and/or NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen'!
