Superb - possibly unique and truly used- and/or cap-removed! - WH (Heeres): 'T-shaped'- (ie. 'M41-pattern'-) cap-eagle/cocarde as was specifically produced for usage on the M41-model officers'-caps (ie. 'Einheitsfeldmützen für Offiziere')
This is a truly very attractive - never before seen, truly used- and/or carefully cap-removed and actually very scarcely seen ie. possibly unique! - example of a neatly hand-embroidered, officers'-pattern WH (Heeres) so-called: 'T-shaped'- (ie. 'M41-pattern'-) cap-eagle/cocarde (ie. cap-trapezoid or: 'Mützentrapez') as was specifically produced for usage on the M41-model officers'-caps (ie. 'Einheitsfeldmützen für Offiziere') being executed in silver-toned braid and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or carefully cap-removed-), condition. The piece is neatly executed in detailed hand-embroidery on a darker-green-toned- and/or typical woolen based background (and still shows some of the stitching-holes with which it was once cap-attached). The neat patch - that just as its 'BeVo'-woven counterparts combines an eagle and cocarde! - was most certainly a tailor-made piece that was ordered ie. acquired by a high-ranked army-officer (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - truly used and possibly unique! - example that can excellenty be used for a restauration of an 'Extra-Qualität', M41-model officers'-type field-cap!
