Attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period, 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded-style) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and used by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 135'
This is an attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded style- and neatly 'cyphered') NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour, as was specifically intended for - and/or clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 135' (or: sergeant who served within the army infantry-unit ie. regiment numbered: '135') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which are both approximately 12,6 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: darker-green-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the woolen-type- and/or white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour ie. piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the (standard-pattern) silver-coloured NCO-braid attached and have each a single (regular-sized- and/or aluminium-based) pip period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). Next to this does the pair show two (fully matching, early-pattern) sets of '1'-, '3'- and/or: '5'-numerals period-attached. All eight devices were with certainty period-attached (and do show some regular age and/or tarnish). The pair never had any tongues attached and was most certainly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern and does just show some moderate age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive, and I deem early-war-period, 'Heeres' NCO-type, 'Infanterie-Truppen'-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 135'': I deem that I have priced this attractive M36/M40-type pair, accordingly!
