Attractive - albeit moderately used! - 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being an early-period- and/or clearly maker- (ie. 'L/50'-) marked example by the maker: 'Gebr. This is an attractive - albeit just moderately worn- ie. used - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (or: Iron Cross 1st class) being an - I deem - fairly early-period- and/or clearly maker- (ie. 'L/50'-) marked example as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Gebrüder Godet' (ie. 'Hersteller L/50') and that comes as issued and/or recently found and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or clearly worn-), condition. The magnetic (and typically non-vaulted) cross has an attractive (somewhat darkened) age-patina and retains truly great detail: the black-coloured core shows some minimal staining and/or paintloss (mainly within the swastika-area as can be noticed on the pictures). The cross has lost its off-factory-applied polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The back of the cross is just minimally stained and dirty (but was never cleaned nor polished). The (straight-shaped) pin and typical catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The cross is I deem - as stated above - an early-period example that was produced by the maker 'Gebr. Godet' as based in the town of Berlin and that was never before in a collection. I deem that this attactive but clearly used example is accordingly priced!
