The attractive cross - which is a typical quite vaulted ie. converse-shaped example as more often encountered - has - I deem - never been cleaned and retains a nice- (albeit somewhat tarnished) age-patina and/or great pronounced detail. This WWI-period example - which is a (partly) genuine-silver-based- ie. magnetic example as more often seen - comes mounted onto its original (and naturally fully functional- and unaltered) straight-shaped pin and has an unaltered (and of course also functional) catch (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross - which shows a nicely preserved, 'blackened'- and/or fairly 'satin-like'- ie. somewhat 'matted'-like 'inner-core' - shows some clear age and shows some (minimal) damaged areas in its rim: overall does it retain a very nice appearance (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is - as stated above - totally void of a makers'-designation on its back but does show an '800'-silver-content-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross is, moreover, just a bit dirty and tarnished simply caused by years of storage and/or moderate wear but retains a great unmessed-with and/or uncleaned, age-patina. Simply an attractive IC-first-class that was never before part of a collection: I deem that I have priced this attractive WWI-period example accordingly!
