Superb, 4-pieced WWII-period, medal-bar-set (ie. 'Ordenspange u. Feld-/Bandspange-Satz') respectively showing a: 'KvK II.Kl. m. Schw.', an: Ost-medal, a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal and a: Bulgarian medal: 'Za Hrabrost' (of the silver-class)
The truly attractive four-pieced medal-bar-set (ie. 'Ordenspange u. Feld-/Bandspange-Satz') respectively shows a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz der II. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: war merits'-cross second class with swords), a: 'Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42'-medal (ie. 'Ost'-medal), a golden-toned: WH Czech occupation medal: '1 Oktober 1938' (as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, which started on 1 October 1938) and a: Bulgarian WWII-period military-cross: 'For Bravery' (or: in Bulgarian- ie. Cyrilic language: 'Ordena Za Hrabrost') being an example of the 3rd (ie. silver) class with swords, all four awards coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. All four awards are truly nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted on their period ribbons. The 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz der II. Klasse mit Schwertern' is a neat golden-bronze-toned- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based example. Both the 'Ost'- and Czech 'Anschluss'-medal are both very nicely preserved examples that truly retain all of their period-finish (as can be noticed on the pictures). The Bulgarian WWII-period military-cross: 'For Bravery' (or in Bulgarian language: 'Ordena Za Hrabrost') is also a very nicely preserved specimen (with fully preserved silver-finish!) that was awarded to lower-rank soldiers and/or NCOs for exceptional actions in the face of remarkable danger. The entire 'Spange' (which is of the non-'detachable-pattern'!) comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and is neatly 'backed' with darker-green wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' just shows some minimal dirt and/or dust acquired over the years: the ribbons show some equal minor usage and/or staining (something that is also valid for the accompanying 4-pieced ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange'). This very attractive medal-bar-set was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or minimally worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike and was kept as such for decades. Simply an attractive - and truly decorative! - four-pieced, medal-bar-set (ie. 'Ordenspange u. Feld-/Bandspange-Satz') that is nowadays not that easily found and that is most certainly accordingly priced!
