Attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period, 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded-style and 'cyphered'!) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and used by! - a: 'Feldwebel einer Sanitäts-Abteilungs'
This is a very attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war-period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded style- and neatly 'cyphered') NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour, as was specifically intended for - and/or clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel einer Sanitäts-Abteilungs' (or: sergeant and senior medical-orderly who served within an army medical-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which are both approximately 10,5 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: darker-green-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the woolen-type- and/or darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour ie. piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the ('standard'-pattern) silver-coloured NCO-braid attached and have each a single (regular-sized- and/or zinc-based) pip period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). Next to this does the pair show a (matching, smaller-sized and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) set of so-called: 'Aesculapus'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached. All four devices were with certainty period-attached (and do show some regular age and/or tarnish). The pair comes mounted onto its functional tongues and does just show some moderate age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and I deem early-war-period - 'Heeres' NCO-type, 'Sanitäts-Truppen'-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel einer Sanitäts-Abteilungs': I deem that I have priced this attractive M36/M40-type pair, accordingly!
